Skywalker Hoverboard Review
There's no getting around the fact that the Skywalker hoverboard is an expensive hoverboard. But when it comes to quality, craftsmanship, and badass entertainment, it's worth every penny. I had the opportunity to test both the 6.5-inch and 8.5-inch models. Aside from the different wheel sizes, there isn't much of a distinction between the two. Aside from the fact that the 8.5-inch version is an absolute beast on all terrain. The raw strength brought to the table by the Skywalker collection is exceptional. When you compare this to a generic $150 board, you can see where the extra money goes. Exceptional endurance, exceptional stability, and incredible acceleration – all while carrying adults weighing up to 242 pounds. Even at its top speed of 20kmh, this thing feels smooth, stable, and secure as can be. With a maximum range of 20km, it is in a pretty exclusive performance band. The fact that it comes in a variety of colors and finishes is merely the icing on the cake. But ...
